1 liter of milk. 1 kg of cottage cheese (5% fat or more). Heat over medium heat until the whey separates (do not boil!). Strain the quark through a fine sieve or two layers of cheesecloth. Add 30 g of melted butter. 1 teaspoon of salt. 1 teaspoon of baking soda. mix well. cook in a water bath until the curd cheese has melted.
I have a 500 ml plastic jar. Let cool down, preferably in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. The cheese is delicious! Good Appetite!
